Farah Khan recently opened up about how 'Tees Maar Khan' failing at the box office affected her. She went on to call it the most difficult phase of her career. The filmmaker shared that she couldn't get out of her bed for several days after looking at the response of the audience.

During her appearance on The Ranveer Show, Farah Khan shared, "It puts you on the back foot for very long. You get over it, bounce back, and go to work, but in your mind you’re always on the back foot. You don’t have self-doubt, but people try to push you towards that."

The filmmaker revealed that she was crying after looking at the reactions to the movie. She said, "I couldn’t even get out of my bed for five or six days. I was crying constantly."She expressed that social media was not that active at that time; however, all the criticism reached her through her friends. She said, "There are always well-meaning friends who come and tell you who’s saying what. That makes you feel angry, then sad, and sometimes even brings on a panic attack because for the first time you feel helpless."Farah Khan went on to share that there were some people from the film industry who felt good about seeing her experience failure for the first time.

Farah Khan acknowledges that failure changed her

In the same interaction, Farah Khan stated that witnessing failure made her reassess a lot of things. She said, "But it’s a good thing I saw my failure because success all the time does make you overconfident and brash."She even added that while shooting for 'Tees Maar Khan', she was brimming with confidence and feeling that she had figured out everything after the success of 'Om Shanti Om'. She said, "Don't question me; I've just made 'Om Shanti Om'—that was my approach on the sets of 'Tees Maar Khan'."She concluded, saying, "I'm a little wiser now. I believe a lot in karma."
