‘Bittoo Sharma’ in ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’

Ranveer Singh’s debut movie, ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ and his character ‘Bittoo Sharma’ remains one of the most loved characters of his fans. Bittoo made his way into the heart of his audience with his boyish charms and fun-loving nature.

The movie also starred Anushka Sharma in the female lead role. The movie received positive reviews from the audience and the critics alike.

‘Ram Rajadi’ in ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’

Ranveer Singh played the role of a vagabond Gujarati young man named, ‘Ram Rajadi’ in ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’. His flamboyant character and his sizzling chemistry with his leading lady Deepika Padukone were loved by one and all.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali brought together the lovely pair of Ranveer and Deepika on the screen for the first time in the movie. The film received appreciation and accolades from all sides.

‘Peshwa Bajirao’ in ‘Bajirao Mastani’

Ranveer Singh impressed one and all when he portrayed the historic character of ‘Peshwa Bajirao I’ in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’. Right from his looks to his accent to his brilliant performance, the movie was loved by the audience and received rave reviews from the critics as well.

The movie also starred Deepika Padukone in the film as ‘Mastani’ and Priyanka Chopra as Ranveer Singh’s on-screen wife Kashibai’

‘Alauddin Khilji’ in ‘Pandmaavat’

Ranveer Singh broke all his previous records and standards when he played the role of ‘Alauddin Khilji’ who was the second most powerful ruler of the Khilji dynasty. His villainous look and exemplary acting in the movie gained him accolades.

The Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial also starred Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. The movie marked Ranveer and Deepika’s third collaboration. However, they did not share screen space in this movie.

‘Sangram Bhalerao’ in ‘Simmba’

Rohit Shetty’s cop drama got bigger and better with Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Simmba’. Ranveer played the character of ‘Sangram Bhalerao’ in the movie. He impressed one and all with his dapper, energetic, and antiheroic character.

The movie also starred Sara Ali Khan in the movie. Although she had a comparatively small role in the movie, she successfully made her presence felt in it. The film was hailed by his fans and it made a record collection at the box-office too.

‘Murad Ahmed’ in ‘Gully Boy’

Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Gully Boy’ became one of the most loved and talked-about movies last year. He played the character of ‘Murad Ahmed’ in the film who is an aspiring street rapper from the Dharavi slums of Mumbai.

Directed by Zoya Akhtar, the movie also starred Alia Bhatt in the female lead. The actor is seen showing off his rapping skills in the movie. He received rave reviews for his performance from his audience and critics alike.
