From 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' to 'Captain India': Kartik Aaryan's stellar lineup of films

Kartik Aaryan has come a long way in Bollywood and made a place for himself in the industry. The actor marked his debut 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' in 2011 and went to win the audience with his performances in films like 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety', 'Luka Chuppi' and more. ​'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2'


'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' will release in theatres on 25th March 2022. Helmed by Anees Bazmee, the film stars Kiara Advani as the female lead. It also features Tabu, Rajpal Yadav and Amar Upadhyay in pivotal roles. The film was originally scheduled to hit the theatres on July 31, 2020, however, due to the COVID pandemic, it got delayed.

​'Dhamaka'


Directed by Ram Madhvani, the film is based on the South Korean movie 'The Terror Live'. Kartik will be seen playing the role of a journalist named Arjun Pathak. The film also stars Mrunal Thakur and Amruta Subhash in prominent roles.

​'Freddy'


The romantic thriller is backed by Ekta Kapoor and is directed by Shashanka Ghosh. Talking about the film, Karik once told a publication that he is venturing into uncharted territory. The actor commenced the shoot of the film in August 2021. Alaya F has been roped in as the leading lady of the film.

​'Captain India'


Kartik will be essaying the role of a pilot in Hansal Mehta's 'Captain India'. The first poster of the film garnered a lot of love from the audience. In a statement, Kartik said, "Captain India is inspiring and thrilling in equal measure and it gives me great pride & honour to be a part of such a historic chapter of our country. I have immense respect for Hansal Sir’s body of work and this was the perfect opportunity to collaborate with him.”

​Untitled film (Earlier titled 'Satyanarayan Ki Katha')


Directed by Sameer Vidwans, the film is backed by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film was initially titled 'Satyanarayan Ki Katha', however, the makers of the movie decided to change the name of the film to avoid hurting any sentiments. The director of the film tweeted, "We will be announcing a new title for our love story in the due course of our journey."
