Ayan Mukerji shared the sweetest gift for his best friend-actor Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt ahead of their pre-wedding festivities. Releasing a teaser of ‘Kesariya’ song from their upcoming film ‘Brahmastra’, he penned down a long note that read, “For Ranbir and For Alia! And… For this Sacred Journey they are going to embark on soon ! ️. While promoting ‘KGF: Chapter 2’, Sanjay Dutt shared with ETimes exclusively, “If Ranbir Kapoor is getting married, I am really happy for him. Alia was literally born and brought up in front of me. Marriage is a commitment they are making to each other. And they have to stick by that, hold each other’s hands and move ahead in happiness, peace and glory. Make kids soon Ranbir, and stay happy!”

Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali who has worked with both Ranbir and Alia in films like ‘Rockstar’, ‘Highway’ and ‘Tamasha’, shared his work experience with ETimes. He said, “Amongst the actors that I have worked with, there is no one more similar than Ranbir and Alia. To be alike as actors, you have to be alike as people as well. You need to be aligned in thought, and that’s the case with these two. Even before Ranbir and Alia got friendly with each other, there was a kind of affinity I saw in both of them because they were so alike. I have had the privilege of working with Alia in Highway and Ranbir in Rockstar and Tamasha, and I can say that there are no actors like these two. The fact that Ranbir and Alia are together, gives me immense happiness and pleasure. I am not going to say more (smiles), but I am extremely happy that people like that are grouping together. They are the purest form of actors that I have seen in my life.”
