‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ - Egypt

‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ is a movie that has become very popular over the years and is one of Karan Johar’s most iconic movies. Undoubtedly, this movie is the most popular choice for binge-watching for families, which melts our hearts, and has very touching scenes. One of the best and sweetest moments of the movie is in the romantic song called ‘Suraj Hua Maddham‘. Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol romancing in the middle of Egypt’s desert has our eyes glued to the screen. The amazing backdrop of the pyramids was a delight to sore eyes.

'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' - Spain

Zoya Akhtar's 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' made Spain an attractive location for Bollywood movies and since then more and more films are now shot there. In the film, three friends take an epic road trip. They start their travels in Barcelona and visit all the famous landmarks – the Casa Batlló, the Arc de Triomf, and the Gothic District. Before going to Buñol for the La Tomatina festival, Kabir, Hrithik Roshan's character, takes a daring dive off the Costa Brava. In Seville, the adventure incorporates skydiving and an awesome flamenco performance with the popular ‘Señorita’ song, which was shot in the nearby village of Alájar. Shah Rukh Khan made ‘Pathaan’ a huge success in Spain owing to the song ‘Besharam Rang’ that featured Deepika Padukone.

'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' - Switzerland

The film 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' was the pioneer in associating the Bollywood buzz with Switzerland. The film offered a view of the Swiss canton of Fribourg, Saanen and Gstaad at their most beautiful and untouched. Beautiful scenery with usual Bollywood drama and snow-clad mountains in the background marked the union of Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan in Saanen railway station. Kajol’s solo expedition to the Early Beck bakery in Gstaad is another mention worth it. The scene where Kajol runs into Shahrukh after the palat… palat moment was shot at the Saanen bridge, and the red rose prank had the victim resting on the grass at a park in Interlaken. The iconic train-missing scene in Zweisimmen is the perfect Himalayas Swiss combination.

‘Befikre’ - Paris

The Bollywood movie ‘Befikre’ was shot entirely in France for the very first time. Kangana Ranaut portrayed Rani in ‘Queen’ and her performance was noticed by everyone for a long time as she was highly memorable. She takes Parisian streets in a way that sweeps you off your feet. A traveler’s delight, ‘Matargashti’ in Corsica, another favorite but ‘Tamasha’, came with France too.

'Rockstar' - Prague

The gothic city of Prague in the Czech Republic was one of the places chosen for the shooting of a fragment of 'Rockstar' by Imtiaz Ali. The movie is about a young artist portrayed by Ranbir Kapoor who is striving to make it through the music industry. The start of his music career was heartbreak, a power that he carried through to the end of his journey of success. Some remarkable places in Prague are the beautiful Vrtba Gardens, the famous Wenceslas Square, and the Sychrov and Karlstejn Castles, as well as the well-known Charles Bridge.

‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ - Budapest

The legendary ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ from the filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is a classic movie with heavy romantic theme, as acted by the main trio Aishwarya Rai, Ajay Devgn, and Salman Khan. The story is revolving mostly around India, but the last few scenes are happening in Hungary. The running scene of Nandini (Aishwarya) after Sameer (Salman Khan) in the streets of Budapest, in a red chiffon saree and black shawl, until reaching Chain Bridge was among the unforgettable moments of the movie.
