From Sunny Leone to Shahid Kapoor: 8 Bollywood celebrities who become parents in 2018

The year 2018 saw many Bollywood actors take on a new role of parents as they welcomed new additions to their family. From Shreyas Talpade, Sunny Leone, Gul Panag to Shahid Kapoor-Mira Rajput, it has definitely been a year of celebration for our stars.

Here are some celebrity couples from B'town who the stock visited in 2018.

Sunny Leone and her husband Daniel Weber who adopted a baby girl Nisha in July 2017 were blessed with two baby boys through surrogacy. The actress announced it through an adorable Instagram post in March 2018. She shared an image of herself and Daniel holding the babies while Nisha is all smile for the camera.

They named the kids, Asher Singh Weber and Noah Singh Weber. In the post, she wrote, "We are both the proud parents of three beautiful children."

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor were blessed with a baby boy, Zain Kapoor, in September 2018 at Mumbai's Hinduja hospital.

The duo welcomed their first child, Misha Kapoor, in August 2016.

The actor tied the knot with Mira in the year 2015 in a private ceremony. On April 20, Shahid and Mira took to their social media to announced that they are expecting their second child. The couple posted a picture of daughter Misha, with "big sister" written in the backdrop.

Niel Nitin Mukesh and Rukmini Sahay welcomed their baby girl into this world on 20th September 2018. Taking to his social media account he announced about the same and also revealed the name of his daughter. The actor tweeted, "Rukmini and I are proud to announce the arrival of our darling daughter, Nurvi. The entire Mukesh family is elated. Both mother and daughter are well by the Grace of God��".

Neil and Rukmini got married in the year 2017 in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony.

Actress Gul Panag got married to pilot Rishi Attari in 2011. And the couple welcomed their baby, Nihal, in the year 2018. The news about the same broke out in August, six months after the baby was born. Talking about the same, the actress said that being a parent is a special feeling and hence she and her husband decided to experience it without any distraction. Though their close friends and family knew about it, the couple asked all not to post anything on social media.

Director and Varun Dhawan's brother Rohit Dhawan and his wife Jaanvi Desai Dhawan were blessed with a baby girl on May 29, 2018. Varun and his rumoured girlfriend Natasha Dalal met the newborn at the hospital in Mumbai. Several celebrities were in attendance at Jaanvi's baby shower celebration.

The filmmaker has helmed Varun, John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer 'Dishoom'. It is being reported that Rohit will be directing a film starring Hrithik Roshan and Disha Patani in the lead.

Director Abhishek Kapoor took to his Instagram to announce that he and his wife Pragya Yadav were blessed with a baby boy on 28th August 2019. He posted, "With the blessings of lord Shiva, In the wee hours of this morning, my jaan @pragyadav has bought another bundle of joy in to our lives. At 3.38 am today, 28 of august 2018, #isana ka bhaiya aa gaya . #jaibholenath. Both mother and son are doing fine and resting. Its gonna be a mad house with a lot more to go around #isanakafasana".

The 'Kedarnath' director announced the news of the second baby earlier by posting a picture of his wife with a baby bump on his social media account.

Singer Sunidhi Chauhan and her husband Hitesh Sonik started their year with welcoming their bundle of joy. Sunidhi gave birth to her first child, a baby boy, on 1st January 2018 around 5 p.m. The singer got married to the music composer in the year 2012, after dating him for two years.

Hitesh Sonik is known for delivering chartbusters like 'Ruki Ruki', 'Dance Pe Chance', 'Kamli', 'Darkhaast', 'Main Baani Teri Radha' and more.

Shreyas Talpade and his wife Deepti welcomed their first child after 14 years of marriage. The sweet couple became the proud parents of a baby girl on May 4th, 2018 via surrogacy.

Apparently, when the baby was delivered the couple were holidaying in Hong Kong as they were informed that the due date is between 10th May -12th May. He had also revealed in a report that there were certain issues due to which they opted for surrogacy.
