Birthday boy Sunny Deol has given an amazing gift to all his fans by announcing his brand‑new film, 'Gabru', on his 68th birthday. The actor also dropped the first official look of the film on social media, creating a buzz among his followers. The film is written and directed by Shashank Udapurkar.

The film is set for a big-screen release on 13 March 2026.

Sunny Deol shares birthday celebrations with fans

Earlier in the day, Sunny shared a heartfelt Instagram video giving fans a glimpse of his midnight celebrations. In the clip, he was seen outdoors watching fireworks light up the night sky. The area around him was decorated with bright festive lights, creating a lively and celebratory atmosphere.

His team could be heard cheering, “Happy Birthday!” as Sunny smiled and enjoyed the moment. He captioned the video simply, "Happy Birthday to me."

His brother, Bobby Deol, also sent him warm wishes. Posting a cheerful photo, the 'Animal' actor wrote, "Love you Bhaiya. Happy Birthday."

Sunny Deol’s other projects

Sunny has an exciting lineup of films for 2026. He will next be seen in 'Border 2', directed by Anurag Singh. The war drama also stars Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, and is scheduled around Republic Day in 2026.

Later in the year, he will feature in Nitesh Tiwari’s 'Ramayana Part 1', set for a Diwali release. Other projects include Rajkumar Santoshi’s 'Lahore 1947'. Following the success of 'Jaat', the makers have announced the second installment, 'Jaat 2'.
