Hema Malini shares sweet smile in public for the first time post Dharmendra’s demise, leaves paps emotional
Actress and politician Hema Malini, who has been missing her late husband Dharmendra, recently made fans happy after being seen smiling in public for the first time since the veteran actor's death. She often shares emotional posts and unseen pictures of Dharmendra on social media, remembering their beautiful moments together.
In a ETimes video, Hema Malini was spotted attending an event in the city. As she stepped out, she paused to pose for pictures and greeted the photographers warmly. The actress looked as graceful as ever, dressed in a beautiful green saree.
Dharmendra passed away in Mumbai on November 24, 2025, surrounded by his family. Fondly known as the “He-Man” of Bollywood, the legendary actor is survived by his two wives, Prakash Kaur and Hema Malini, and his six children — Sunny, Bobby, Ajeeta, Vijeta, Esha, and Ahana Deol.
Hema has always maintained a respectful and graceful outlook when speaking about Prakash Kaur. In her biography ‘Hema Malini: Beyond the Dream Girl’, the actress opened up about her personal life with honesty, saying, “Though I have never spoken about Prakash, I respect her a lot. Even my daughters respect Dharamji’s family. The world wants to know about my life in detail, but that is not for others to know. It’s no one’s business.” She also addressed the misconceptions surrounding her marriage with Dharmendra, stating, “There are people who think I am weeping at home, pining for my man. I am not a police officer who needs to keep tabs on him. He knows his duty as a father and I have never had to remind him of it. Dharam-ji still treats me like he did in the initial days.”Get the latest entertainment updates from the Times of India, along with the latest Hindi movies, upcoming Hindi movies in 2026 , and Telugu movies.”
