Here’s how Tanaav actor Gaurav Arora’s celebrating his birthday!

Last year, Gaurav Arora celebrated his birthday in Kashmir as they kicked off the shooting of Tanaav. This year he says, he is in Egypt and celebrating the success of the show. “Literally, we partied from Sept 20 till 6 am of Sept 21 as we began shooting for the show. And this year it feels good to get such positive feedback for the show. Today I am in Egypt, always wanted to be here as pyramids fascinated me,” says the actor who’s now looking forward to the release of Tanaav 2, which is based around terrorism.The actor who’s worked in films like Love Games and Raaz Reboot has been doing a lot of web shows of late and was seen in Asur and Broken But Beautiful. Talking about his tryst with the medium, Gaurav shared, “OTT has been an amazing revelation for all the creative people and even for the audience. Earlier we only had films and television and so there was this void in between. We can’t go to theatre every day and then there was this big chunk of audience who didn’t watch television. This medium has so much content for every age group and every set of audience. As an actor I am getting to do different stories which have bigger canvases, and stories that require a lot more time and ideation.”Out of the many web shows that he has been a part of, ask Gaurav to name his favourite one and he is quick to add, “Be it Broken But Beautiful or Tanaav all of them are close to my heart. But if I have to choose one then it has to be Asur: Welcome To The Dark Side series. The show gave me recognition and validation. It got me the kind of love and respect I received from the audience, which has been unparalleled. So, Asur will always have a special place in my heart.”
