Hrithik Roshan recently opened up about the type of character he hopes to take on in the future. The actor revealed that he would like to revisit a role similar to Zaffar, the confident film star he played in
Zoya Akhtar's 'Luck by Chance'.
The revelation came through a social media post and he also admitted that the answer surprised him because it was not something he had actively thought about before.
Hrithik Roshan says filmmakers often see him differently
Explaining his thoughts, Hrithik shared that he suddenly realised the kind of role that excites him while thinking about future projects.
He wrote, “Just got asked what’s the kind of role I’m looking for. And I surprised myself when it came to me. Remember Zaffar from luck by chance ? That’s the one. I’d jump on something like that . But directors only wanna see me play the good guy. Sad. (sic).” The post soon attracted reactions from people within the film industry and from fans.
Director Zoya Akhtar also joined the conversation and wrote, "Let’s get that coffee." Several followers filled the comments section with messages appreciating Hrithik's earlier work.

'Krrish 4' marks a new phase for Hrithik Roshan
Meanwhile, Hrithik is currently working on one of the biggest projects of his career, 'Krrish 4'. The film will not only bring him back as the lead actor but will also see him taking on directing responsibilities.
The project will mark Hrithik's directorial debut.
Earlier, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan had announced the project through social media and wrote, "Duggu 25yrs back I launched you as an actor, and today again after 25 yrs you are being launched as a director by two filmmakers Adi Chopra & myself to take forward our most ambitious film #Krrish4. Wish you all the success in this new avatar with good wishes and blessings (sic).”
