Hrithik Roshan's sister Sunaina Roshan opens up about battle with alcohol and junk food addiction, says admitting the problem ‘changed everything’
Sunaina Roshan, sister of Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan, recently shared a deeply personal video on social media, opening up about her long battle with addiction. In the video, Sunaina spoke candidly about struggling with alcohol, junk food, and sweets, and how acknowledging the problem became a turning point in her life.
Reflecting on that moment, she said, “The hardest thing I ever did was admit that I had a problem, but it changed everything.”
Sharing details of her own experience, she revealed the extent of her struggle. “I struggled with alcoholism and at one point an unhealthy relationship with sweets and junk food. It wasn’t easy,” she admitted.
Sunaina stressed that recovery became possible only with the right mindset and a strong support system. Speaking about what helped her heal, she said, “With the right mindset, support and the courage to talk about it, I was able to pull myself out.”

She concluded her message on a note of strength and hope, urging people to take recovery one step at a time. “Don’t be afraid to reach out for support. You are unbreakable,” she added.
