Kajol to star in a horror film, to be produced by husband Ajay Devgn’s banner: reports

Even after being around for decades, Kajol is one of the most sought after actors in Bollywood, and is known for her author-backed roles. As per latest reports, Kajol has signed up for a horror movie next, titled Maa. The film will be helmed by Chhorii director Vishal Furia and produced under Ajay Devgn’s banner Ajay Devgn Ffilms.


According to a report by Peeping Moon, horror is a genre Kajol has never explored and one she has been wanting to try her hands at. Furthermore, when Vishal Furia approached her with this gripping script set in a very unusual world, she instantly embraced it.



Recently, Karan Johar's 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' completed 22 years and Kajol penned a special note on this occasion. The actress shared some memories and anecdotes on the film and said, "22 years to #k3g ..Another acronym but yes another long lasting memory !!! Yash uncle actually renovated and made new makeup rooms in Filmistan studios permanently just for the shooting of this film because even with the vanity vans it was not going to be enough for this gigantic starrer! @karanjohar collapsed and fainted on set because of dehydration in the first few days .. it was really really hot! ��"

She further said it was Shah Rukh Khan's son, Aryan Khan's screen debut. "And this was @___aryan___ 's debut on screen.. ! It was also I think my first comeback ( not sure about this part tho ) too many comebacks ago ) And the first and only time I stood in front of the pyramids and truly felt them with my soul.. so yes this was a truly HUGE film in every which way , in life and cinema!"


For those not in the know, Aryan was shown as younger SRK in the film in the flashback scenes with Jaya Bachchan.
K3G not only did well commercially but also won critical acclaim when it released.
