Kangana Ranaut gives fans a tour of her cosy Manali villa that is the perfect fusion of tradition and modern architecture

Kangana Ranaut on Thursday opened the doors of her Manali home and gave fans an all-access tour of the plush new villa. Built high up on the hills, the home is a perfect blend of tradition and modern architecture. The actress, who has been rather coy about the new project, took to her handle to give fans a glimpse of the intricate details, the decor, and gorgeous interiors of her new home.

​Kangana designed the house herself

In her social media post, Kangana gave fans a good look at the stunning interiors and the well-decorated walls and statement furniture in her home. Interestingly, she revealed that she designed the house herself.

​Kangana Ranaut a design enthusiast?

Sharing beautiful images of her villa Kangana said that she opened her doors, specifically for design enthusiasts. "Here is something for all design enthusiasts, who love decor and are curious about mountains architecture which is local but ancient and deeply traditional," she explained in the caption.

​New home is an extension of Kangana's existing house

"I built a new home it's an extension of my existing house in Manali but this time kept it authentic, typically mountain style made of river stone, local slates and wood," Kangana said in her post. The actress made headlines years ago when it was revealed that she built a home in the hills for a whopping sum of Rs 30 crore.

​Painting by Padmashree recipient Vijay Sharma takes its place in Kangana's home

Shortly before going public about the new house, the actress shared that she had purchased a painting created by artist Vijay Sharma. The actress, in her social media post, revealed the gorgeous canvas artwork that now adorns her home interiors. "This painting is the ancient art of Himachal Pradesh, it's called Kangra painting, the artist is Padmashri recipient Shri Vijay Chambyal... soon this painting will grace my living room," she explained.

​An ode to Himachal

The actress also shared pictures of her stunning bedrooms coloured with different pastel shades. She also posted a picture of a wall full of photos, paintings and frames. Revealing the significance of the wall, she said, "This wall is an ode to Himachal, it's various traditions, art and people... All these pictures are clicked by Harnaam he also helped me decorate this wall."
