Akshay Kumar returns to the silver screen with the film 'Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh', which hit the cinemas today on April 18, 2025. Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, this historical courtroom drama centers on the fearless lawyer C. Sankaran Nair, portrayed by Akshay Kumar, who fights the British Empire to reveal the truth about the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre.The film also stars R Madhavan as the British lawyer Neville McKinley and Ananya Panday in a key role as lawyer Dilreet Gill, who supports the fight against injustice alongside Nair.
