A report in the publication stated, "There is absolutely no truth to the reports currently circulating about Kiara Advani being cast in a Madhubala biopic produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The claims are completely baseless and speculative." According to the reports, the film will be helmed by Jasmeet K. Reen. She is known for helming Alia Bhatt, Vijay Varma, and Shefali Shah starrer 'Darlings'.The actress was last seen in Ayan Mukerji's 'War 2', co-starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. The movie was a part of the spy universe backed by Aditya Chopra. She played the role of Kavya Luthra, daughter of Colonel Luthra (played by Ashutosh Rana). The movie didn't work at the box office.Next, she is set to star in Yash's 'Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups'. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film was scheduled to arrive on March 19, 2026.
