Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have reportedly reached a settlement in their divorce, averting a trial, court documents filed Tuesday showed.

The former couple and their attorneys filed documents asking for a judge's approval of terms they have agreed on, including USD 200,000 per month child support payments from Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, to Kardashian.

The two will have joint custody, and neither will pay the other spousal support, according to the documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court.

The judge declared the two legally single at Kardashian's request in March, ending their eight-year marriage, but issues of property and custody remained that were to be worked out in a trial starting December 14.

The two have four children whose ages range from three to nine years old. Kardashian and Ye will equally split the expenses for the kids' private security and private school, including college, according to the settlement proposal.

They will also each pay their own debts, the settlement said. The two had a prenuptial agreement and kept their property largely separate.

Following the divorce announcement, rumours spread of the actress allegedly demanding Rs 250 crore in alimony. However, the rumours were later rubbised with new reports claiming that the couple who wed in October 2017, had signed a pre-nuptial agreement, leaving no reason for talks on division of assets and alimony.

Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan finalised their divorce at the Bandra family court . It was later revealed that the two had an out-of-court settlement. Hrithik's lawyer Deepesh Mehta told IANS, "They have got divorced in a very unique and elegant way where there is no alimony and not a single document drawn up between them. It's all on the basis of trust, respect and faith. This is an example they have set on how a couple should part ways in an elegant and classy way." The two remain good friends to this day and co-parent their two sons.

After spending years entangled in a bitter divorce battle, Karisma Kapoor and her estranged husband Sunjay Kapur came to an agreement on modalities for separation. The two reportedly reached the settlement out of court, but formalised it before the Supreme Court. According to the agreement, Karisma was given custody of their two children, while Sunjay was given visitation right. The monetary aspect of their agreement was kept private.
