'Lahore 1947': Sunny Deol and Aamir Khan starrer to release on Independence Day 2026 weekend

The versatile stars Sunny Deol and Aamir Khan are all set for the highly anticipated film 'Lahore 1947'. According to the latest press release, the film now has a release date, backed by Aamir Khan productions and directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, this historical drama will hit the big screen on August 13, 2026.

The film marks a significant first-time collaboration between Sunny Deol, filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi, and producer Aamir Khan. Speaking about the project, Aamir Khan shared, “This was one of the favourite scripts of Dharamji, and I am so glad he could see the film.”
