Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor’s look in Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Sanju’ was a replica of Sanjay Dutt. The uncanny resemblance between the real and reel Sanju was highly appreciated. Ranbir had revealed in the making video, “Sanjay Dutt's face has changed over the years. Because of alcohol, his face had gotten puffy and his chin had kind of come down. So I think that added to his aging process. Tests after tests we kept failing and it's really hard because you have to sit on a chair for six hours, hoping like 'God make this work'. And it's just in a span of 30 seconds that you see, 'it's not working' and you realize that six hours of work has gone down in drain.” Ranbir looked like a spitting image of Sanjay Dutt and the film went to perform well at the box office.

Lara Dutta

Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi starrer ‘Bell Bottom’ is all set to release on August 19 in theatres. It is the first film to get a release in theatres post the second wave of Coronavirus. In the film, Lara will be seen playing the role of the late former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Soon after the trailer was released, fans started sharing Lara’s look on social media. They were stunned to see her makeover. Speaking about her role, Lara said at the trailer launch, “It is a great responsibility when you portray someone who's an iconic figure like Mrs Gandhi. It was very important to get her body language right. The film is about a hijack that took place during Mrs Gandhi's tenure. Given the dramatic events that were unfolding, she was extremely centred. It was important therefore to portray her in that way. As a result, a lot of homework and research went into the role. It was an opportunity I am very thankful for.”

Amitabh Bachchan

Amitabh Bachchan’s look in ‘Paa’ is one of the most unbelievable looks to date. Big B was seen playing the role of a 12-year-old progeria patient in the film. To nail his look, the makers had roped in international make-up artist Stephan Dupuis, who did Robin Williams' make-up in ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’. The megastar had posted about his look on his blog back then. He had mentioned, “The prosthetic process is arduous...Around eight pieces specially designed through laborious clay models are most meticulously stuck on to the face. Once the make-up starts, it is impossible to move even a few centimetres. Eating and drinking has to be avoided and you cannot talk because it displaces the pieces over the contours of the face. Separate pieces form the entire look.” He had to sit for 5 hours every day to get the look of Auro.

Ranveer Singh

Ranveer Singh left everyone impressed with his performance as Alauddin Khilji in ‘Padmaavat’. Not only he nailed the performance but also left everyone in awe with his ripped look. He looked menacing and unrecognizable as Khilji. He was highly praised by the audience and critics alike.

Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar looked unbelievable in ‘2.0’ alongside Rajinikanth. He was seen in his crow man look. During the trailer launch event, Akshay had said that it was very hard to achieve that look. He had to sit for hours to get the make-up right and a few more hours to remove it. He had also posted a picture on Instagram with a caption, “For an actor who never puts makeup, 2.0 was a different story altogether. To get this look right, I think I must've taken longer than the female lead #2Point0”
