Actor Kanchan Mullick tells TOI that being a Taurean, he used to fall in love almost daily when young.

I fell for my friend���s sister, who was elder to me. I was so consumed by love that if my friend asked for anything, I was only too glad to give it to him.
What about college?
Being a Taurean, I used to fall in love almost daily. As I was in an all-boys environment in school and college, I never saw anything except moustaches and beards.
And with my lanky frame, I was sure no one would fall for me. Naturally, I was at liberty to set my eyes on the fairer sex.
I saw my wife at a function in Coochbehar. She, however, couldn���t care less about Kanchan Mullick, the popular anchor of Janata Express. When I praised her song, it was received with a dry ���thank you���. The next day, I managed to get directions to her house and landed up at her doorstep early in the morning with a chocolate gifted to me the day before by a child.
Remember your first date?
Yes, she stood me up for 35 minutes in front of her college and came up with the ���class achhe��� excuse.
What about the marriage proposal?
I told her outright, ���Ami tomake biye korte chai���. She reacted by saying that it was okay only up to flirting, but I couldn���t expect more. I had told her in return that the next day I would wait till 11 am for her answer. If she didn���t turn up, I would know that her answer was in the negative. As luck would have it, she showed up a few minutes before 11 am.
Are you afraid of your wife?
Even Akbar was wary of Jodhaa! I am sure even Buddha babu���s case is the same. So who am I?
So, do you look at girls after marriage?
Taj Mahal dekhe ki keu bolbe baje? Any man who says that he doesn���t look at girls after marriage, surely has some problem.

Once, when I was on my way back from the market in a bermuda and T-shirt, a girl commented, ���Eka bajar theke keno firchhish? Ekta coolie ne na���. Her friend joined in, ���Dugaal beshi bhat kha���.

When I was anchoring Common Room, during the confession round, a girl asked me on camera whether I would give her what she asked for. After I agreed, she planted a kiss on my cheeks.
What did your wife say to that?
���Ektu barabari hoye gelo na?��� was her reaction.
