Nick Jonas steals all the attention from Priyanka Chopra; proud hubby shows off his mangalsutra bracelet at the Oscars

Nick Jonas may have accompanied wife Priyanka Chopra to the 98th Academy Awards, but the singer-actor ended up grabbing attention of his own thanks to his meaningful accessories.


The hunk, who is lovingly called 'Jiju' by his Indian fans, won hearts online when he showed off the traditional Indian accessories that he wore to the Oscars. While Priyanka stunned in high-fashion designer outfits and a diamond necklace, fans were unable to look away from Nick, who donned something sentimental to the show.







The couple made a stylish appearance, with Chopra stunning in a white gown with feather detailing and Jonas rocking a velvet suit. However, fans noticed their 'Jiju' not only wearing a Kalava, a sacred red and yellow thread around his wrist, but also sporting a mangalsutra-inspired bracelet.





The piece of jewellery associated with marriage in Hindu tradition has become a constant part of the actor's attire. The bracelet appeared similar to the one he was recently seen wearing during Chopra’s 'The Bluff' film premiere. Nick won hearts when the piece of jewellery that he has been sporting as a bracelet, peeked out from under his jacket, making all his Indian female fans swoon.





Priyanka was among the many actors presenting an award at the 98th Oscars ceremony held at the Dolby Theatre. The 43-year-old actor was accompanied by Oscar-winning Javier Bardem, to present the award for Best Foreign Film.





'Sentimental Value', directed by Joachim Trier, took home the award.
