Her Instagram still reads “Piloo Vidyarthi.” She explained that changing a surname in India can be complicated, with issues like updating her Aadhar card. For her, the name carries personal significance, and she sees no reason to change it. She added that neither she nor Ashish has any issues with it, and she doesn’t feel the need to prove anything by altering her surname.The actress also spoke about Ashish’s current wife, Rupali, with grace and composure. She noted that Rupali now uses her maiden name, Barua, and said that while Piloo continues to use Vidyarthi, Rupali has never had any issue with it.
