Rajveer Deol opens up on the love his family receives despite being away from the public eye, talks on the overdose of social media

The younger son of Sunny Deol, Rajveer Deol is all set to make his big screen debut with Dono, opposite Paloma Dhillon. The actor recently opened up on his family's huge legacy and how the Deols get so much love from fans, despite not being in the public eye constantly.


Talking to DNA, Rajveer said that if he goes out with his dad, or dada or chacha, people give them endless love. He added that however, social media wise, PR wise, that tends to get hidden, because they don't really promote that love on social media that much. However, he does know that there is a big fanbase for his family out there.

He further added that in today's age of social media, if you're ain't relevant, then you are out of people's mind. He also added that his father was big in the 80s and the 90s and a little bit in the 2000s. So, when he came back with Gadar 2, they thought that the old-school formula was dated, but it worked wonders!

Earlier, speaking to Siddharth Kannan, Rajveer shared that for 22 years, he saw his father struggling and working, and then when finally when he landed a film as massive as ‘Gadar 2’ it was a pure moment of joy. The success of the movie not only added stars to Sunny’s chest but is a victory for the entire Deol family.



Rajveer mentioned that people often say that actors have an easy life. They say it because they haven’t seen it from a closer view. It makes Rajveer very angry when people just ignore the hard work of the actor and only see the perks of the job.


Junior Deol ran short of words to describe the contentment he felt when he heard about the box office numbers of ‘Gadar 2’. He said every time he and the family saw the numbers going up, they would simply laugh and rejoice. They didn’t have words to describe their happiness.
