Actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda added glitz and glam to the 43rd India Day Parade in New York City on Sunday. The two stars, who have long been rumoured to be dating, set social media abuzz after they were spotted letting their guard down and holding hands during the event.

Serving as the Grand Marshals, the actors walked along the streets of Manhattan, flanked by security on either side. Cameras captured a rare moment of public affection as Rashmika and Vijay held hands as they walked side-by-side. On spotting the cameras, they quickly dropped their hands and waved at the crowds, fuelling fresh speculation about their relationship.

Once on the bus, the duo waved Indian flags and greeted cheering fans who had gathered to mark the occasion. Vijay looked regal in an ivory sherwani, while Rashmika dazzled in a shimmery red saree.

Fans also swooned over Vijay who lovingly placed his hand on Rashmika's shoulder during the celebrations. Reacting to the viral clips of the couple's cute PDA, a fan said, "A simple hand-hold, and somehow I’m grinning like an idiot."

On the professional front, Vijay was last seen in the Telugu spy-thriller 'Kingdom', while Rashmika’s most recent outing was 'Kuberaa'.
