Actor Raveena Tandon recently opened up about how she views generational differences and changing lifestyles. During a conversation with Times Entertainment, the actress reflected on her bond with her children and explained why she does not feel a major disconnect between her generation and today’s younger generation.The actress shared that her close relationship with her children has helped her better understand younger perspectives and evolving interests. “About our generation? What do they get wrong? I don't know. You know, actually, it's a little different or difficult for me to comprehend as to what others think. Because between the relationship between me, Rasha and Ranbir, my kids, and then my two older kids who are not the Gen Z, but they're an older generation. We are friends, right?” she said.Raveena explained that the family shares many common interests and lifestyles, which keeps their bond strong despite age differences. “So I've not felt that distance or that difference, We do everything together. Our likes and dislikes are almost the same,” she added.

The actress further revealed that wildlife, animals and nature remain some of the biggest common passions within the family.
“Our passions are the same. We all love wildlife. We all love going for safaris. We all love animals. We all can have like about 100 dogs in our house and no humans. We're very happy with that,” Raveena said. According to the actress, these shared interests have helped maintain a natural emotional connection between different generations inside the family. “So we bond like that. So I don't see... Unless, yeah, it's technology. I definitely ask for technology help from my son and my daughter both, yes,” she added with humour.

During the interaction, Raveena was also asked about one thing from the 1990s that she feels may not survive in today’s generation. The actress responded with a humorous answer while recalling one of the popular style trends from that era. “Uh... Bombed hair? God, it was uncontrollably wild,” she said.

The actress also reflected on modern technology and admitted that one aspect of today’s digital culture deeply concerns her. While she acknowledged the usefulness of smartphones, Raveena criticised the growing culture of constant recording and camera usage in public spaces. “I don't know. What I wish would not be there instead is these camera phones. The smartphones, great. But those cameras that everyone has, is really an invasion on privacy,” she said. Raveena stressed that the issue affects not only celebrities but ordinary people as well.“And not only for celebrities, I think for anyone or everyone. That I think is not correct,” she added.On the work front, Raveena will next be seen in Welcome To The Jungle, which has already generated strong excitement among fans.
