Richa Chadha celebrates daughter's day by sharing unseen photos from her maternity photoshoot: 'You will always have value, li'l girl'

Richa Chadha celebrated this Daughter's Day by delighting her fans with a collection of unseen photos from her maternity shoot. In a heartfelt note, she expressed her hopes of sharing these cherished moments with her baby girl in the years to come.

Richa shared a series of pictures on her Instagram account, in which she was seen flaunting her baby bump. The actress wore a mustard yellow silk saree that was draped gracefully. She sported a long, curly hairstyle. Her baby bump and chest were adorned with a black and white artistic design.

She began by quoting Maya Angelou: “My mother shed her protective love down around me, and without knowing why, people sensed I had value.” She added, “You will always have value, lil girl.”

The actress revealed the inspiration behind this shoot: “These photos were taken in month 9 of my pregnancy by @harshphotography11. The sacred geometry symbols on my body have been painted by @avantika_1988. The flower of life on my navel and the symbol of the divine feminine on my chest. Little did I know at the time that I would have a daughter. Woman. Sacred vessel of the universe, cloning herself to make another in her image.”


She concluded, “Happy Daughter’s Day, little girl. We will see these pictures together one day, where you posed inside, and I was bursting at the seams… this one is for us, so outsiders can look but can’t speak.”

Initially, the actress turned off the comment section, but later, due to acting instructor Barry John’s personal reaction to the post, she enabled comments.

Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal welcomed their baby girl on July 16. They tied the knot in 2022.
