'Salman Khan entered a night club and paid for everyone, handed champagne bottles', recalls blogger talking about his generousity

Salman Khan is always known to be a friend's friend and in his younger days, he was considered the life of a party. A superstar who thrived on nightlife, Salman had a reputation for not just hosting lavish parties but also happily footing the bill for others. One such unforgettable night from that era was recently recalled by blogger Malini Agarwal, better known as Miss Malini.Malini revisited a moment from the pre-smartphone days when Salman casually turned a regular weekday night into a full-blown celebration. She narrated how she and her friends were at a club called China House on an ordinary Tuesday when things took an unexpected turn. “On a random Tuesday, me and my friends were at a club called China House and at around 2:15 am on a Tuesday, the lights come on so we were like maybe it’s shutting so we were paying the bill. As we were walking out the door, suddenly the lights dim and the music comes back on. So we were like, ‘What happened?’ and Salman Khan has walked in,” she recalled on the InControversial Podcast YouTube channel,According to Malini, the atmosphere changed instantly the moment Salman entered. What had been a winding-down crowd suddenly felt like a party again. “He said, ‘Take everyone’s credit cards back, I am paying for everyone’. And he starts handing out bottles of champagne to people,” she added, highlighting the actor’s easy generosity.Since this was well before the age of phone cameras and social media, Malini managed to capture the moment with a small Kodak camera she happened to have with her. “This was before smartphones and I had a little camera. There’s a series of pictures of us looking at him, the back of his head, us pointing at him, him turning round and looking a bit confused and then us, with a bottle of champagne. This would have been a video today but that was four very badly taken Kodak shots,” she said.Fans are now eagerly awaiting his next film, 'Battle of Galwan', directed by Apoorva Lakhia, which is slated for release on April 17.After the teaser dropped, some critics and netizens were unimpressed with Salman’s look and performance in the brief glimpse. Addressing the criticism at an ISPL event, the actor firmly defended himself, saying, “Ab kisi ko ye samajh mein aata hai ki ye romantic look hai, lekin Colonel hoon bhaiya. Aur ye Colonel ka look hai, jo ki samajhta hai ki apne team waloon ko, apne jawanon ko kaise hosla dena hai.”He followed it up with a powerful, soldier-like roar and added, “Iss sabka koi matlab hai nahi, iss look ka koi matlab hai nahi. Toh aise hi chalta aaya hai aur aise hi chalta rahega, aap sabki dua se.”
