Sanjay Dutt's daughter, Trishala Dutt, speaks about 'silent abuse' and 'emotional manipulation' in her post: 'Real relationships don't teach you lessons through pain'
Sanjay Dutt’s daughter, Trishala Dutta, is one of the star kids who chose not to follow the Bollywood lane. With an interest in medicine and psychology, she is a practicing psychologist in the United States. She uses her voice on social media to highlight different aspects of psychology. Recently, she shared a post on emotional manipulation, stating how people often use silence as a tool to abuse in a relationship.
She mentioned, "They are silently "teaching" you that your voice is dangerous, and that speaking up will clearly cost you connection with them."
Trishala added that “Silence used as punishment is abuse" cannot be considered the right course of action.
She advised that people who are in such situations should take a stand and protect their peace of mind. “Real relationships don't teach you lessons through pain; they heal through communication," she shared.
At the same time, she highlighted that choosing silence to cool down and have better communication goes a long way. "I need a few hours to collect myself, so I don't say something hurtful," Trishala quoted.
"Silence that protects your nervous system is self-respect. Silence that punishes someone else is power play," she concluded.
Trishala Dutt earlier had an interest in Bollywood, but that faded away. She also studied Forensic sciences, but in the end chose to follow a different career path.
