Saurabh Shukla REACTS to 8-hour shift debate; says, 'If you're in a flow, then you should not crib about it'
In light of Deepika Padukone's recent departure from 'Spirit', veteran actor Saurabh Shukla chimed in on the ongoing debate surrounding work hours in the film industry. He argues that sticking to a strict eight-hour schedule can stifle creativity, advocating instead for a flexible approach that prioritizes artistic integrity and quality over clock-watching.
Deepika Padukone's exit from Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Spirit' sparked discussion about working hours in the film industry. Several actors and filmmakers have shared their opinions on the topic since then. And now, Saurabh Shukla has shared his point of view on the subject. The veteran actor expressed that eight-hour shifts are not always the solution. Let's take a look at what he has to say.

Saurabh Shukhla reacts to the eight-hour work shift demand

In an interview with India Today, Saurabh Shukla opened up about his eight-hour work shift. He shared, "If you're in a flow, I really think that, suddenly, if you're going half an hour or one hour beyond your working hours, then you should not crib about it because, in bargaining, you're getting much more. That continuity of thought and continuity of that flow."The actor expressed that the time limit or the fixed shift hour should exist, "but that is not the main thing." According to him, the important thing is "the piece you're creating."
