As ‘Cocktail 2’ approached its final shoot leg in January, the makers introduced a visually vibrant element by filming a special song in Mumbai. The sequence featured Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Kriti Sanon, adding a splash of colour and energy to a film otherwise described as dark and intense in tone.According to Mid-Day, ‘Cocktail 2’ reportedly revolves around themes of love, betrayal, and revenge. According to reports, the characters played by Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon have multiple layers, adding depth to the narrative. Reports also suggest that several upbeat dance tracks were incorporated to balance the film’s intense storyline. The special song is reportedly set against the backdrop of an engagement ceremony, enhancing its celebratory mood. The track, composed by Pritam, is reportedly an original number. Reports further indicate that a grand house set was specially constructed at Film City to shoot the sequence, contributing to its large-scale visual presentation.Reports suggest that the team also filmed a final club song featuring the lead trio before wrapping up the schedule. The number is described as a lively and stylish addition, expected to bring a high-energy vibe to the film’s music album. It has been indicated that Pritam composed several engaging tracks for this project.Additionally, reports indicate the film’s music was finalised well in advance, even before Rashmika Mandanna’s February wedding with Vijay Deverakonda.
