Siddhant Karnick says he has not got any new offers after 'Animal', but hopes he gets more opportunities

Siddhant Karnick is experiencing a paradigm shift as he has landed some recognizable roles to play in 2023. Before welcoming the new year, the actor expressed his gratitude for being acknowledged for his three characters this year.

In a recent interview with News18, the actor revealed the journey he had experienced this year. His performances in ‘Adipurush’ as Vibhishana, in 'Animal,' and in 'Made In Heaven' (portraying a character involved in domestic violence) were significant enough to make headlines.

The actor referred to this year as absolutely memorable and added that it felt like playing cards. He held three cards and is now awaiting responses for the last card he played.

When asked about his upcoming projects and the anticipated influx of movie offers after 'Animal,' the actor mentioned that he currently has no main projects lined up and no works in his pipeline. However, he will be seen in an OTT release titled ‘Afghan Snow.'



Further, the actor expressed his hope for increased job opportunities following his work in 'Animal.' He emphasizes his openness about actively seeking work, acknowledging that he is looking for new opportunities. He believes in transparency about the challenges actors face, aiming to break the stereotype of only discussing the glamour and success in the industry. The actor wishes to address vulnerabilities to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the acting profession beyond its perceived glamour and success.


The actor feels a sense of responsibility to offer an authentic portrayal of his professional life to his audience. Despite the option to be vague about his projects and project an image of success, he opts for honesty. He emphasizes the choice to avoid misleading the audience by openly sharing that he is not currently working on multiple projects. The actor aims to maintain transparency and truthfulness with his audience instead of creating a false perception of success.

Siddhant expresses confidence in the potential impact of three upcoming projects on his career. Despite being in the industry for 20 years and currently having no concrete projects in hand, he remains optimistic about the future, anticipating that opportunities will arise. Siddhant envisions continuing his career for another ten years and remains hopeful about the possibilities ahead.
