'The Archies': Atlee showers praise on Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda and Khushi Kapoor; calls it 'remarkable musical film'

Zoya Akhtar's 'The Archies' has been receiving positive reviews from all sides. The film marked the debut of Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda and Khushi Kapoor.

Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' director Atlee also took to his social media handle and showered praises on the film and the young actors.



He wrote, '#thearchies was an exceptionally remarkable musical film directed by the highly skilled @zoieakhtar. The narrative was masterfully conveyed, with a seamless integration of artistic elements that can only be described as truly poetic.”The entire ensemble of actors delivered outstanding performances that left me in awe'.




Atlee also called Agastya Nanda, a breath of fresh air in the film, “Agastya Nanda, you were such a breath of fresh air in the film. Your portrayal was lovable and endearing. And let’s not forget the rest of the cast, who were all exceptional in their roles. Each and every one of them contributed to the brilliance of the film,” his review read.



The Jawan film-maker concluded his note by penning,”I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the entire team behind this masterpiece, as well as @NetflixIndia for bringing it to us. This film has truly left a lasting impression on me, and I can’t wait to watch it again.”

Set in 1960s India, the storyline revolves around Archie and the gang as they navigate through themes of romance, friendship, and the looming threat to a beloved park posed by developers. It also features several newbies including Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Aditi Saigal and Yuvraj Menda.”
