‘Toaster’ has unveiled a new trailer, offering a closer look at its dark comic world, led by Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra, ahead of its April 15 premiere. The preview introduces Rao as Ramakant, a man so attached to every rupee he spends that a wasted wedding gift pushes him into a growing mess. His attempt to get that toaster back quickly sends the story into chaos.

According to Netflix, the story follows Ramakant’s extreme thriftiness and the fallout it creates. What begins as a personal fixation soon pulls others into the confusion. The trailer frames the film as a dark comedy rooted in a simple idea. A man refuses to let go of something he paid for, and that mindset slowly takes over his world. The result is a story built on control, compulsion, and consequence.




Directed by Vivek Das Chaudhary and produced by Patralekhaa under Kampa Film, ‘Toaster’ also stars Archana Puran Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, Farah Khan, Upendra Limaye, Vinod Rawat, Jitendra Joshi, and Seema Pahwa. The supporting cast adds to the tension as Ramakant’s behavior drives the narrative into stranger territory.
