Vardhaan Puri: I want to do an out-and-out comedy film; it’s the toughest genre to crack, but also rewarding
Actor Vardhaan Puri says 2026 will be a year of self-actualisation, driven by clarity in career, relationships, and health. Speaking about his mindset going into the new year, he shares, “2026 is going to be all about self-actualisation — in terms of my career, family life, relationships and health.”
The actor adds that his professional aspirations are deeply rooted in purpose. “I’m manifesting opportunities to work on films, series and other formats that showcase the greatness of India and inspire the youth of our motherland. I want to make a difference to society, be kind to everyone I meet and stay present in every moment.”
Vardhaan also credits a lifestyle shift for bringing balance and clarity. “A year ago, I became a member of the 5 AM club, and I’d honestly recommend it to everyone. I’m a life member now. There’s something magical about waking up early — the silence, the sense of purpose, and the time to reflect. It’s my favourite part of the day. Most of my best ideas and eureka moments come at that hour.”
On the personal front, 2025 marked a return to things he loves. “I started playing lawn tennis again after 10 years, and I’ve never been this excited. I feel fulfilled,” he says, adding that he also focused on his mental health. “I addressed underlying issues that were causing uneasiness and angst, and that’s made a big difference.”
Looking ahead to work, Vardhaan reveals a clear creative goal for 2026. “I really want to do an out-and-out comedy film. It’s the toughest genre to crack, but also the most rewarding in terms of audience love and connection.”
