Virat Kohli signs autographs for his 'mini-me'; fans joke 'Yeh Akaay Kohli nahi hai?'

The Indian cricket team arrived in Vadodara ahead of the New Zealand ODI series, which begins on January 11. Amid training sessions and other commitments, a cute moment between Virat Kohli and his kiddie fans has taken social media by storm. In viral photos and videos doing the rounds online, Virat was seen making a starry entrance, when he was approached by several young fans, asking him for autographs. The cricketer, who usually steers clear of public interactions, was seen with a bright smile on his face as he stopped to greet the kids and even obliged them with autographs.

However, it was one kiddie fan, who came dressed to the event in his team India kit and a mini bat, which he asked Virat to autograph. Interestingly, it was the boy's resemblance to Virat that caught everyone's attention. Fans noted that the boy looked like a spitting resemblance of the cricketer when he was a kid.

Posts online suggest that Kohli too seemed to have noticed the resemblance and smiled widely as he signed an autograph for the cute boy. Photos and videos from the interaction quickly went viral online, with fans going gaga over the uncanny resemblance between the child and Virat during his childhood days. A fan wrote, "It’s literally Virat meeting his younger self. The 'King'", while another joked, “Virat Kohli giving an autograph to his childhood look-alike.” Still another wrote, “This child looks exactly like a copy of Virat Kohli. Virat was so chubby and cute in his childhood.” Many went a step further, humorously asking if the boy was not Virat's son, Akaay Kohli, whom he shares with his actress wife Anushka Sharma.
