Priyanka recalls her 'Kaminey' journey

In her post, Priyanka shared clips from Kaminey, where she played Sweety Bhope opposite Shahid Kapoor’s Guddu. Recounting how she landed the role, Priyanka wrote, “I remember him telling me the story and I said, ‘Well, she has approximately 8 scenes.’ And he said, ‘With us working on it, it will end up being so much more. Trust me.’ And I did.”She added that Bhardwaj had promised to create something even more remarkable for her, which later turned out to be 7 Khoon Maaf. “But honestly, I was just greedy to work with him,” she admitted, showcasing her deep admiration for the filmmaker.

The director reshared her tribute with a moving note, expressing how much he cherished those days of collaboration. “Ask me how much I miss those days. You have been one of the finest collaborations of my career,” he wrote.Bhardwaj also shared a personal memory of a day when Priyanka was upset on set, “Remember one day, when you got angry, I handwrote a poem on a napkin and sent it to manaoo you. ‘Doosri jangaleedam ko khatam huye bhi beetein saal. Ab bhi kuch Japani afsar chhupien mile hain duty par. Tum se kab ab milna hoga… Kya ab bhi naraaz ho tum?’”Priyanka penned a warm reply, “Hahaha aapse kaun naraaz reh sakta hai? Aaiye milne.”
