Watch: Adnan Sami pays a video tribute to veteran actor Jagdeep after his sad demise

Veteran actor Jagdeep, who was popularly known for his character ‘Soorma Bhopali’ in ‘Sholay’, passed away on July 8. He was 81. Messages of condolences have been pouring in from all sides on social media.
Singer Adnan Sami recently took to his Instagram handle to share a video where his song, ‘Lift Kara De’ is seen juxtaposed with several funny moments of Jagdeep from his movies. It is indeed a unique tribute from the actor.

Jagdeep’s real name was Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed Jafri. His real name was Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed Jafri and he is also the father of Bollywood actor Jaaved Jaaferi and TV producer Naved Jaffrey. He is also known for his character of Salman Khan’s father in ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ which also starred Aamir Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Raveena Tandon.


He has films like, 'Ab Dilli Door Nahin', K. A. Abbas's 'Munna', Guru Dutt's 'Aar Paar', Bimal Roy's 'Do Bigha Zamin' and AVM's 'Hum Panchi Ek Dal Ke' to his credit.
