In the video, the 'Ye Mera Dil Yaar Ka Diwana' was seen cooking Kanda Poha reportedly at her Lonavala farmhouse, where she cooked the simple dish and talked about her love for food and cooking. She expressed her love for cooking by saying Mujhe bahut shauk hai khana banane ka" (I am very fond of cooking.)

Furthermore, she mentioned how if someone does not know how to cook at home, oftentimes people will prefer to go outside. She pointed out that a good home-cooked meal is not only healthy, but also good for maintaining relationships and staying connected with the people around you.

In the video, while cooking the kanda poha, the singer also mentioned one of the reasons why she started loving cooking and food in general.
Specifically, she mentioned lyricist Majrooh Sultanpuri’s wife and other people in her life for being the inspiration behind her cooking habits. She added, "Majrooh ji ki jo wife hai Begum, unhone bhi mujhe seekhaya hai. Logon se pooch ke sab seekha hai" (Majrooh ji's wife, Begum, also taught me. I learned everything by asking people.)Showing off her cooking skills, the famed singer opened up about her traditional views on food, and added: "Aurat agar ghar mein achha khana pakaye toh log khush rehte hain" (If a woman cooks good food at her home, then the family stays happy). Furthermore, she concluded the video on a light-hearted note and talked about the importance of good music and food in her life, citing that it is a need that she has. She stated, “Gana aur khana dono achha hona chahiye" (Music and food both need to be good.)
