Shahid Kapoor, who has delivered memorable performances in films like 'Jab We Met', 'Haider', 'Padmavat', 'Kabir Singh' to name few, is happily married to Mira Rajput and is a doting dad to children Misha and Zain. While Shahid is now settled in his personal life, he had previously spoken openly about his past relationships and experiences with love.
Shahid Kapoor on his love life
In an earlier interview, Shahid was asked by actor-turned-host
Simi Garewal how many times he had fallen in love. He admitted, “That's a difficult question, I can't answer that. That's a dangerous question to ask a guy. Every time I met a girl, I fell in love, whether I was 3 years old. It is true love."
Shahid Kapoor on falling in love
During an appearance on India’s Most Desirable in 2011, Garewal reminded Kapoor that he had once admitted to falling in love twice. Reacting to this, Shahid said, “No, no, more than that. Much more than that, much much more than that.”
Shahid Kapoor on being 'immature'
When Simi clarified that she was referring to “serious grown-up love,” the actor responded, “That hasn't happened yet. I don't think I have grown up very much. Serious grown-up love, what is that?”
Further, Simi explained that by a 'serious grown-up love', she meant two mature people falling for each other. To this, Shahid shared, "No, that hasn't happened to me yet. One of us have always been immature. I don't have that because that would be for keeps.”
Shahid Kapoor's film update
The actor received love for his recently released film 'O Romeo'. The film is based on Mafia Queens of Mumbai, written by Hussain Zaidi. The film featured Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar,
Avinash Tiwary, Disha Patani, Farida Jalal, and Tamannaah Bhatia in pivotal roles. This project marked Shahid’s fourth collaboration with filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj. They previously worked on the films 'Kaminey', 'Haider', and 'Rangoon'.
He will next be seen in the rom-com 'Cocktail 2' with Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon.
