Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday to perform their stunts in ‘Khaali Peeli’

All of two-films-old, Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday are already trying their hands at action scenes and doing so without a body double.

Reports doing the rounds claim that the two stars, who are pairing up for the first time in the upcoming film ‘Khaali Peeli’, have begun the second schedule on an action-packed note. Eager to film the demanding scenes themselves, the two let the body doubles sit it out as they got into action mode.

Ishaan reportedly even shot a scene that required him to jump off a pickup and get dragged along the ground for about 30 meters. However, the makers made sure the young hunk practised enough before filming the scene.

Ananya and Ishaan shot their action sequences over 10 days and it including shooting scenes in the narrow by-lanes of Wali.

Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit performed their own stunts in ‘Total Dhamaal’?

We have seen Bollywood’s young hunks bite the bullet and perform some hardcore stunts themselves, even if it comes at the cost of hurting a limb or two. Now Anil Kapoor and his ‘Total Dhamaal’ co-star Madhuri Dixit are making death-defying stunts seem like child’s play. According to reports, the two stars, well into their 50’s performed their own stunts for their latest film.

Director Indra Kumar had claimed that Anil and Madhuri performed stunts that involved driving a car on a wrecked bridge over a valley and jumping down a 300-foot waterfall. Although a little apprehensive about it, the director was sure that he didn’t want to use body doubles for the scene and was impressed with the outcome.

'Total Dhamaal' is one of the most anticipated movies of the year, which also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffrey, Ajay Devgn and Esha Gupta in pivotal roles.
