Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt are currently promoting their upcoming film 'Gully Boy'. The trailers and songs of the film have received a super response as both the actors will be seen in totally different avatars.

Recently, during the promotion of the film at a studio, Ranveer gave a tip to all the boys to impress their lady love. As the film is releasing on 14th Feb, that is Valentine's Day, Ranveer adviced all the boys to show 'Gully Boy' their love interests in theatres.

Dressed in a blue t-shirt with a pink loose jacket over it and pink pants the actor was in his quirky best avatar. Alia looked pretty in a white top and blue pants.

Helmed by Zoya Akhtar, the film is based on the story of Mumbai's street rappers Divine and Naezy.

Recently, Alia took to Instagram account to share a picture with Ranveer and damn, they are looking absolutely fantastic in it! Alia was snapped at recording in a polka dot top and ripped black jeans paired with black high heels. On the other hand, Ranveer was in all-red attire. She captioned the picture with her nicknames, "Luls & Tuts".

Helmed by Zoya Akhtar, the film also stars Kalki Koechlin in a pivotal role. The film will hit the theatres on February 14.

The first poster from Gully Boy came out yesterday, and it didn't reveal much about how the film looks. Marking Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt's first time pairing on the screen, 'Gully Boy' has been in the news for quite some time now, and now a closer look at their characters has been revealed.


While the film seems to have been garnering accolades even before it has hit the screens, everyone is super excited and looking forward to it. The film will be releasing on February 14, 2019, and these posters have simply added to the excitement of all the fans. The posters have the tagline of 'Apna time aayega'. 'Gully Boy' is based on the life story of street rappers Vivian Fernandes aka Divine and Naved Shaikh aka Naezy who are known for their song 'Mere Gully Mein'.

​‘Gully Boy’: Ranveer Singh to have multiple kissing scenes with Alia Bhatt and Kalki Koechlin in the film?

The Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt-starrer ‘Gully Boy’ is slated for a Valentine’s day release on February 14, 2019. Well, going by latest reports, the two lead stars are going to steam up the day of love with their film, based on the lives of Mumbai’s street rappers Naved Shaikh aka Naezy and Vivian Fernandez aka Divine.

Reports doing the rounds claim that Ranveer will be doing much more than just rapping in the flick. He will allegedly lock lips multiple times with his leading ladies Alia and Kalki Koechlin. While the actor reportedly shot three kissing scenes with Alia, he has two other lip locks with Kalki.

Directed by Zoya Akhtar, the film will have its world premiere at the 2019 Berlin Film Festival that will run from February 7 to 17 next year. The film also stars Siddhant Chaturvedi, Vijay Raaz, Amruta Subhash and Vijay Verma.

‘Gully Boy’: Ranveer Singh thanks his bae Zoya Akhtar for a “unique and unforgettable experience”

Ranveer Singh officially wrapped up shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’ over the weekend. The leading man and the team took to their social networking handles to share photos and videos from the wrap party on the sets, apart from other group shots. While thanking the cast and crew for the memorable time on-set, Ranveer also made sure to dedicate a special post to his “bae”, director Zoya.

Taking to social media, Ranveer shared a selfie with his director and captioned it saying, “Bae & I. Made for each other. I love you @zoieakhtar. Thank you for this unique and unforgettable experience #gullyboy.”

Also starring Alia Bhatt in a leading role along with Kalki Koechlin, Ali Asgar, Parmeet Sethi and Pooja Gaur in supporting roles, ‘Gully Boy’ is inspired by Mumbai’s street rappers - DIVINE and Naezy. It is scheduled to hit theatre screens in February 2019.

The pair of Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh are all about to appear on the big screen with their first film together and the excitement is palpable. Alia noted on her Instagram account that she has wrapped up the shoot of ‘Gully Boy’. The paparazzi caught a few glimpses of Ranveer and Alia shooting on the last day of the film’s schedule. They were spotted in action at a suburban railway station in Mumbai. Alia shot for an important sequence with Ranveer. The film is based on the lives of rappers Vivian Fernandes a.k.a. Divine and Naved Shaikh a.k.a. Naezy.

Alia was completely in character as she wore a hijab with a red top and blue denims. Ranveer, on the other hand, had his backpack, which he has been seen carrying for the film’s previous scenes as well, firmly placed on his shoulders.

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s ‘Gully Boy’ shoot brought the lead stars to South Mumbai, where they were spotted shooting a Shakespeare-esque scene. The cast and crew were clicked at Edward Cinema in the city which was reportedly converted into ‘Moonlight Hotel’ for the shoot. A rundown building adjacent to the shoot was Alia’s reel home for the day where she shot her portion in character of a simple girl-next-door.

According to reports, the scene involved Ranveer channelling his inner Romeo and climbing up a bamboo structure to reach Alia. Pictures of the actors dressed in character have been doing the rounds online. While Ranveer appears to be on the phone looking longingly up at Alia, she is seen rather grim as she looks down on him.

Based on the lives of Dharavi rappers Naezy aka Naved Shaikh and Divine aka Vivian Fernandes, ‘Gully Boy’ is scheduled to release in February 2019.
