Salman Khan shells out whopping amount for Tamil film rights

According to a report on Mid-Day.com, Salman Khan has acquired the rights to Tamil film, Thani Oruvan. The report states that the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor was quite impressed by the concept of this Tamil film that originally featured Arvind Swamy, Nayantara and Jayam Ravi in leading roles, and was directed by Mohan Raja. It goes on to say that Bhai has shelled out a huge amount for the rights to this action thriller, and that shooting of its Hindi remake will begin sometime next year. Considering the engaging storyline of Thani Oruvan and its success at the box office, Hindi cinema lovers definitely have something to look forward to.
