Who will be the villain in Dhoom's next installments?

Ranbir Kapoor or Ranveer Singh in 'Dhoom 4'?

Vijay Krishna Acharya, the director of Dhoom 3, has rubbished the reports suggesting Hrithik Roshan being part of Dhoom's next installment, reports Ibtimes.co.in.com. The director said that he has no such plans and is unaware of where these rumours are coming from. Considering that the production house has never repeated actors in their Dhoom franchise, Hrithik will not be cast for Dhoom 4, the report stated. However, what's interesting is that Ranbir Kapoor or Ranveer Singh might be seen in the film, the report added. A source has been quoted in the report as saying that Aditya Chopra is looking to cast either Ranbir or Ranveer in the film — as and when it happens.

While we wait for newer developments on the film, read on to know why Shah Rukh Khan would love to play a villain in the Dhoom franchise...

Who will be the villain in Dhoom's next installments?

A common joke that was doing the rounds in Shah Rukh Khan's camp was that the actor believes that the biggest stars are roped in to play the villain in the Dhoom series. However according to an IANS report, SRK, who has been a part of many blockbusters produced by Yash Raj Films, won't mind joining their popular Dhoom franchise if the project is offered to him. The report quotes him saying, "I am doing a film with Yash Raj and that's Fan. If I get an opportunity, I would love to do a negative role in Dhoom 4. I find it very cool." Expecting Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra to play chor-police for a few more years, we give the makers a few superhit anti-hero options. Take a look!

Who will be the villain in Dhoom's next installments?

Dhoom 5- Deepika Padukone is currently the big thing in Bollywood. The long-legged beauty, who is basking in the glory of Happy New Year, meets all the criteria to be the villain of the Dhoom franchise. Her recent blockbusters have made her more famous than her leading men. She has enough style quotient to keep the film running on her shoulders. Dippy, we think, will look stunning (a must to be a part of the film) in the bike chases and bikini sequences in the film.

Who will be the villain in Dhoom's next installments?

Dhoom 6- After seeing him as son Abhishek Bachchan's son in Paa, the audiences will go berserk if Amitabh Bachchan plays chor while Abhishek is the police chasing him in Dhoom. You expect nothing less than brilliance from Big B on-screen. He has hardly disappointed us with his renditions of a variety of roles onscreen. And him playing a thief in an out-and-out action thriller will be quite a treat.

Who will be the villain in Dhoom's next installments?

Dhoom 7- The 'Thalaiva' is probably the biggest star of the country. His flashy onscreen image and stylish action scenes have been copied by many in Hindi films for years now. Rajini sir's presence in Dhoom will take it a notch higher. And then all we expect is some Rajini style action in a film-packed with bike and action sequences.

Who will be the villain in Dhoom's next installments?

Dhoom 8- We know Ranbir Kapoor is blessed with great acting skills. The Kapoor scion is already a desirable hero in the industry. By the time Dhoom 8 releases, Ranbir would just be the reigning King of Bollywood. Jai-Ali's chase to catch Ranbir would be something audiences can't miss out on. We would love to see this chocolate-boy showing some grey shades.

Who will be the villain in Dhoom's next installments?

Dhoom 9- After exhausting all the big names in the country, we will be forced to look towards the west for Dhoom 9. Even though Tom Cruise is currently our top choice for the role, by that time we think Bradley Cooper would be as famous as Cruise. Hence, he snugly falls into our category of irresistible heroes for this thief job. We would need to note down hangover remedies before we step out to watch Cooper intoxicating Indian audiences.
