Thodi si chai mere andar...: AP’s remix for Amdavadi fans!

Kya daaru, daaru kar rahe ho? Marvaoge kya?” laughed AP Dhillon, as Amdavadis shouted “once more” after he performed Thodi Si Daaru during his concert in the city on Friday night. The performance, part of his ongoing eight-city tour, turned the venue into a vibrant playground for music lovers. Youngsters were present at the venue in massive numbers at the event curated by Team Innovation, and the excitement was palpable long before Dhillon stepped on stage. The tone of the evening was set the moment he arrived on the stage with Shinda Kahlon and sang Lambo truck vich gedi sutti Hollywood, Geet Desi munde’an de sune Bollywood from Brown Munde, and the crowd went into a frenzy.

When AP asked, “Kem cho, Amdavad? Majama?,” the entire venue was filled with cheers from the young crowd. Singing his superhits like Wo Noor, Tere Te, Summer High, Afsos, Without Me and Bora Bora, the singer played four different guitars through the evening. For some of his most popular numbers like With You, Dil Nu and Thodi Si Daaru, the crowd shouted “once more” and he happily obliged. With his fans cheering “AP, AP” between each song, the singer quipped, “Loving the crowd, man.”

The evening turned spectacular with confetti raining down, and the stage was lit up beautifully. LED Xylobands and lasers lit up the venue in waves of red, green, white, yellow, and blue, according to the moods of the song. The crowd also enjoyed the firecracker show.



‘Give it up for Sidhu Moosewala’ During his performance, AP was quick to notice a fan paying tribute to Sidhu Moosewala and said, “Give it up for Sidhu Moosewala, everyone.” He enjoyed interacting with the crowd and showed a piece of fan art (his painting) to the crowd. Calling a female fan on the stage, AP sang Sweet Flower for her, while a young boy, who sang Insane with AP and Shinda, also won audiences’ hearts.
