60th Britannia Filmfare Awards 2014: Nominations for Best Playback Singer (Female)

Jyoti Nooran and Sultana Nooran for 'Patakha guddi': Jyoti and Sultana, popularly known as Nooran sisters, gained tremendous popularity for their song, Patakha Guddi. The song was composed for Imtiaz Ali's Highway. Music maestro AR Rahman had composed the song. They shot into limelight for their sufi/folk inspired singing. Their uninhibited, rustic voice has been the highlight of all their songs.

Kanika Kapoor for 'Baby doll': Kanika Kapoor, better known as the 'Baby Doll' singer, is Bollywood's latest muse. Sunny Leone's grooves and Kanika's seductive voice kept the song right at the top of the charts for months. The song can also be considered Kanika Kapoor's ticket to Bollywood.

'Manwa lage...' crossed one million hits within 21 hours of being uploaded on Youtube. The Happy New Year song features Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.

Sona Mohapatra for 'Naina': This song from Khoobsurat stole many hearts. Sona Mohapatra's soulful voice added to the charm of this love ballad. Sona is one of the few Indian musicians to have collaborated with western bands and singers.
