Jennie of the K-Pop girl group BLACKPINK, was targeted by a podcaster who made some serious allegations against the idol, sending fans into a furious debate. The influencer who featured on a podcast enraged a lot of fans for making ‘baseless’ claims that the star was creating explicit videos with business heirs and wealthy businessmen.
In a recent episode of the ‘Above The Influence’ podcast, Kira, a social media influencer, made various claims about the Korean entertainment and music industry. Jennie, however, ended up becoming the main part of the conversation after Woohak, one of the hosts of the podcasts, shared an incident related to the topic of discussion. He made claims about attending a summer camp along with someone who claimed to be the son of the BMW heir.
He continued, sharing that the ‘heir’ paid a hefty amount in order to have relations with Jennie and claimed that he had also been shown a video of the same.
Netizens come to Jennie’s defence and slam the podcasters
Many fans of the group, as well as the general public, banded together to support and defend Jennie. No proof other than a word-of-mouth story was presented on the podcast, making everyone sceptical about the story. Many people took to their social media accounts to defend Jennie and call out the podcasters for uploading and streaming videos with such harmful and ‘false’ claims.
One fan commented, “You all are throwing around some serious and disturbing accusations for it to be “he said, she said" while another shared that “I kneewwwww I had a valid reason not to like this guy whenever videos of him popped up on my Instagram explore page. Dude gave me the ick,” while referring to Woohak.
In another viral clip from the same podcast, Kira had also made claims about how BIGBANG as a group was involved in the Burning Man scandal and that Seungri was paid off to go to jail.
