Kannada actor
Ashwin Hassan, who has acted in over 75 films in supporting roles as well as lead actor is making his debut in Malayalam, with the film Sannidhanam Post Office, which has
Gokul Suresh and
Yogi Babu in lead roles is directed by
Rajeev Vaidya.
Ashwin states, “I play the role of an administrative head in a temple which is located atop of the pristine hill functions only for 100 days in a year.
It is the financial irregularities in the office which creates a mayhem that forms the crux of the story. My character which has a bearing on the outcome of the film made me accept the project.”
On how he has managed to balance out by doing both supporting character and lead actors. “I have never classified roles. I think it’s time we treat all characters equally as now the plots are breaking formulaic styles. I consider roles only if it’s satisfying to me and how much impact that particular character can make are the factors I take into account before I sign movies, so far, it has worked very well, in future too, I will follow the same template,” he wraps up.
