Shiva Rajkumar is no stranger to stardom or being in the reckoning but his current phase has an extra tinge of excitement added to it. As the 59-year-old actor forges on, he does so with enviable energy and acting offers that seem to elude most of his contemporaries. From A. Harsha to Raam Dhulipudi, there is a string of films lined up in front of him along with a few others that are awaiting confirmation - one with Rishab Shetty, for example. Bhajarangi 2
Director A. Harsha's magnum opus is finally on course to release in theatres as the makers get busy with the post-production duties of the film. 'Bhajarangi 2' has been in the making for many years and has had to face significant delays due to myriad factors such as Shivanna's shoulder injury, a set burning down in an accident, and of course, the pandemic. However, fans can look forwards to watching the visual spectacle on the big screen soon enough.

Vijay Milton's 'Bairagee'
Previously titled 'Shivappa', the team of #SRK123 unveiled the new title and first teaser video of the film on Shiva Rajkumar's 59th birthday recently. The film has been directed by popular cinematographer Vijay Milton who makes his Kannada debut as a filmmaker on a grand scale. 'Bairagee' also stars an exciting mix of actors that includes Dhananjaya, Pruthvi Ambaar, Telugu/Tamil star Anjali, Yasha Shivakumar, and many others. The makers are currently engrossed in wrapping the small pending portions of the shoot so as to ensure the earliest theatrical release.

Raam Dhulipudi's untitled action-drama
Well-known Telugu screenwriter Raam Dhulipudi is set to make his Kannada debut as a filmmaker soon and things couldn't be bigger or better for him. Starring Shiva Rajkumar in the lead who supposedly boasts of saint-like characteristics in this romantic love story (with hints of action), the yet-untitled took off recently with a script pooja. Interestingly, Shiva Rajkumar plays the role of an army officer in the film and the makers have planned to shoot the film in parts of Chikmagalur, Kashmir, and also the U.S.A. The principal photography is scheduled to begin in September of 2021.

'Vedha' - 125th film with A. Harsha
Shiva Rajkumar's popularity as a leading man has certainly stood the test of time as the actor continues to heap in the most exciting offers in the industry. With his 123rd and 124th projects still unreleased, director A. Harsha made the announcement regarding his landmark 125th film and grabbed the opportunity of sharing the legacy with Shivanna. The film, titled 'Vedha', is going to be an action drama set in the 1960s with Shiva Rajkumar featuring in a fascinating aged avatar. 'Vedha' is being produced by Geetha Shiva Rajkumar and is yet to take off.

With debutant Kotresh Chapparadahalli
The upcoming venture will be a dream come true for director Kotresh Chapparadahalli as he finally gets a chance to collaborate with his favorite superstar. The intense action-drama will feature Shiva Rajkumar in a menacing avatar - as evidenced by the first look poster - and the project is expected to go on floors once the actor has wrapped up his other films. Kotresh Chapparadahalli has previously worked as an associate to filmmakers A. Harsha and Yogi G. Raj.

Untitled project with 'Rathavara' director Chandrashekar Bandiyappa
Director Chandrashekar Bandiyappa, who has previously made films like 'Aane Pataaki' and 'Rathavara', will foray into a new league as the first look poster of his upcoming, yet-untitled film got unveiled very recently. The director, or the team, hasn't revealed anything about the project but one would hope to find out more at the earliest.
