Pooja Gandhi clears controversy surrounding Abhinetri

Rumour mill suggests that actress Pooja Gandhi’s film, Abhinetri, has been shelved. However, the actress denied any reports suggesting her film has been facing problems. In fact, with the movie, based on the life of a veteran actress, Pooja is making her debut as a producer.
When asked about the reason behind Abhinetri being shelved, Pooja told a website, “That is not true.We have finished eight days of shoot. Some scenes of Makrand Deshpande and Ravishankar have already been shot. Meanwhile, I got busy with Thippajji Circle and after completing the film, I will resume work on Abhinetri.”
“I might have accepted Thippajji Circle on short notice, but that was not for money, but for the role. I play a sex worker in the film and that is a wonderful role. That is why I agreed to do the film immediately and postponed Abhinetri,” she added.
