Prakash Rai defends nudity

Versatile actor, Prakash rai, is once again back in news for his dare bare act in his latest release, Ongole Gitta. While the scenes made the censor board object, the makers went ahead and blurred the scenes out which finally fetched them an A certificate. Coming out in defense of his act in the film, Prakash said that he has done them to show the cruelty in his character rather than for glamour.The actor was thrilled to perform such scenes. But the family audiences were not, and they decided to stay away from the theatre. Responding to the audiences��������� reaction, the filmmakers complied and chopped some of the nude scenes which did not go down with Prakash. The actor was of the opinion that the director had done a great job with his character in the film, that of a villain, which evoked good responses. The actor said that he wanted to try something different from his earlier characters hence he played this particular role in Ongole Gitta and he has enjoyed every bit of the character.
