Raambo 2 is a comedy thriller like Rambo

After 99 films as one of Kannada cinema’s popular character artistes, Sharan turned hero with Rambo, a film that he produced, which then catapulted him to the league of actors capable of carrying a film on their shoulders while also giving audiences a good laugh. While his fans have also been clamouring for a sequel to the film, Sharan is looking at obliging them with his next.
The film, Raambo 2, is not exactly a sequel, says actor-filmmaker Tharun Sudhir, on behalf of the film.“The similarity ends with the title, although in spirit both films are alike. Rambo was a comedy thriller, a genre that Raambo 2 also follows, only that this time around, it is a road movie, with nearly 80% of the narrative taking place on a journey,” explains Tharun.
